Girl in village near Kumasi, Ghana. She is standing in front of seeds from the griffonia tree which villagers collect and sell to agents who in turn sell them on to wholesalers who in turn sell them on to exporters. The seeds are exported to China and Europe where the active ingrediant is extracted and use by the pharmaceutical industry. These seeds provide important cash income during three months of the year.
