Ready and Waiting
I had to make a sudden trip to Connecticut, and now I'm back, just starting to catch up with things. MANY THANKS to you all for such a wonderful response to my last image (the foggy boardwalk)!!! That was totally unexpected.
Perhaps one of you frequent flyers can identify the airline I used, simply by recognizing this plane's interior.

i must confess your last picture is one of my favorite ever pictures of yours. It is one of those pictures that really is very simple, elegant and all the better for it.
I thought of you when i posted my pic today, i remember it as one you said kind things about many moons ago on fotolog

Talk about seeing a common sight in a fresh way! This is wonderful--the pattern, the colors, the composition. I can't add anything to what others have said.

Great shot! I'm always too stressed and loaded-down with baggage as I'm moving through the aisle to even *think* of getting my camera out. Bravo!

Looks like USAir to me, but it doesn't matter: whatever airline it is, I already feel cramped....
I can't believe that you were able to stop and shoot this; it doesn't look like a grabshot...I think there are too many people who would just walk right over you...
Hope you'll be posting more, Dave; I miss seeing your works.

Hey, interesting shot---I don't recognize it---but then I don't fly many American airlines anymore---except Delta from Atlanta to Jax...

Thanks---besides the monuments, which were beautiful, I tried to get some pictures to give an idea of how heartwrenchingly poor India is---it broke my heart...

Dave, can't help but look at your last photo, where the seating allows for face-to-face conversation, and realize how different planes are

I keep coming back to this picture - it keeps growing on me!

Aside from the beauty of the shot, the armrests' shape immediately reminded me of a Hebrew letter. (Someone might confirm...)
