Good friend and photographer Mike Callahan and I took a day to go shooting in north Alabama and Georgia. What a great day it was too. The weather could not have been better. This is a shot from that day at DeSota Falls.

This Image is part of my "People Project". I shot this image while traveling through Washington State and stopping to catch some of the locals in this small town just outside the North Cascade NP. These two guys ("Montana" on the left and Dean on the right) had just finished breakfast, in the form of a liquid.. and despite the gesture, were more than happy to pose for me. We must have talked for at least 45 minutes, laughing all the while. As you can see, Dean was a real character and a wonderful study. I shot about 20 or so images during our conversation and loved every minute of it until his wife came out of the "The Bar" and told Dean that he need to get home. I won't tell you what he had to say about that.

I shot this early morning and I believe I was on Lake Moraine Road, but I can't find a record of what the name of these peaks are. If anyone recognizes them, please let me know.
