house block...

    ...just because.

    i received a bag of vintage scraps from the lovely pouch designs as a little pressie and i thought a little house block was in order.
    oh, i'd better add that it's a foundation pieced block from carol doak's 'easy machine paoer piecing'

      she sent me a lovely little bag of odds and sods too small for her to use, i was thrilled!
      the quilt show is around 20th august lisa, sent the quilts last week, my tummy feels swirly when i think of it!

      I love this, I *knew* that fabric was going to a good home! Much better to be made into something fabulous like this than stuck in a bag of scraps in my office :)

      i'm so glad you approve nicola - i tell you, i've never used fabric so sparingly! anything too tiny i've chucked (we're talking slivers!) but anything bigger than half inch square i've kept! i've made three of these so far, some with my own vintage bits too...must get them finished! thanks SO much for them :) xxx
