I never get tired of it..particularly when they are doing this kind of thing

It looks like it's spinning and trying to form itself into a shape.........perhaps something ghostly and sinister...... A great picture, too.

This isn't one of those "Christ in the Clouds" photos, is it?

Thanks otisourcat..it did go through some interesting transformations..almost like an angel at one point

Hello MrWS..haha..I was thinking more of an exotic dancer in the clouds...but you can see whatever you like

I envy you your Will o' the Wisp. Thunder and lightning ( very very frightening) here.....

    11. ART NAHPRO (36 months ago | reply)

I don't enjoy thunder and lightning very much..we are quite exposed on a ridge here..twice since we have been here (three years) lightning has struck close enough to blow out our computer and telephones...I switch everything off and unplug everything now...

      Keep your head down

      Don't you have a battery back-up?

    13. ART NAHPRO (36 months ago | reply)

No..my PC is very old. I am too broke to replace it at the moment but probably will have to eventually..and will get a lap top then.

    14. mrwaterslide (36 months ago | reply)

Well, the battery back-up is just a battery pack that kicks in if there is a power outage---shuts your computer down in an orderly fashion, assures there is no loss of files or damage to the system. You put everything, computer, scanner, copier, etc., on that back-up, and you can sleep comfortably without worrying about a lightening strike.

    15. ART NAHPRO (36 months ago | reply)

Thanks Mr WS..its not the power outage that is the problem..it is the power surge when lightning hits close...it fries the circuits and blows everything out..particularly the wireless connection..

    16. mrwaterslide (36 months ago | reply)

Well, the battery back-up is designed to protect against power surges, but I don't know about wireless connections.

I'll have to investigate further. There is a a big handle at the back that says "In an Emergency -Crank" hahaha
