    Thanks.., it was picked clean like this, I come across sheep's skulls quite often but they usually look pretty grotesque. I found a deer skull once a couple of winters ago and put it somewhere safe so I could pick it up again later and it was gone when I came back...

    a lovely still life, paul - almost, but not quite symmetrical. The leaves are just so beautiful -- as is the skull. I'd guess fox as well.

    Thanks Montana Raven-the leaves are from one of our flowering cherry trees. They have all dropped now. Its interesting to see how large the eye sockets are compared to the brain pan...
