I have also collected a gallery of phormium shots by other Flickr photographers
There's a raggedy old phormium plant growing in a public garden near us, a photo of which is in the comments box below the first photo in the set. It looks rather a mess until you get in really close, then it reveals all sorts of treasures, specially when the sun shines on or through it.
So I've started a 100 Possibilities Project devoted to this plant. You can see the whole set here. There is a group to post these shots.
