Maple syrup tools of the trade

Learned that my grandfather passed away last night at the age of 92 just a couple weeks shy of his 93rd birthday. My grandpa and grandma would've celebrated their 72 wedding anniversary this year. He worked for the Rock Island railroad until his retirement in the late 70's. This is my favorite photo of him, dressed in his old railroad work clothes, on the back of a caboose where he spent much of his time riding the rails, just like his father did. He will be missed.
