snails and my pet owl

The girls have always played with "Owly" and decided to merge their love for thier plastic pet with their new pet - snails. They have been collecting these from ours and our neighbours yards all weekend. The gardeners seem to be quite happy to donate them but really do not want them back. There really is something surreal about these images.

The snails seem to be really excited....I think they are multiplying:-(

    No, outside on another dreary day in BC. I didn't have time to compose the shot as the kids were playing as we were to leave for school.
