I had just finished taking a couple of shots of my wife for her slimming club when I spotted this chappy on the window of the breakfast room.
Snapped "point-and-shoot" with the Canon Ixus 960IS (Still a cracking little camera!) set in Macro mode.

Just a quick snap whilst the sun was shining!
The summer house has mellowed quite nicely and the clematis has gone absolutely bonkers.
That's my better half, Alison at middle right, just potting a new acer.

Well, it looks like it's finally arrived!
Having spent a lot of time working on my dad's house and garden over the past 5 months, my own back garden has been a little neglected...however..... the clematis (that is all one plant) is putting on its best display ever. We transplanted it from the front of the house 17 years ago and I reckon it must have been at least 10 years old then. It didn't flower for the next 3 years but has come on in leps and bounds ever since.
