Citizens of Beijing (China) are used to frequent a lot the big parks of the city to escape the pollution and the frenzy of city life. Zhongshan park is just next to the Forbidden City and is really beautiful. As for most of the parks in Beijing, you have to pay an access fee, but it is definitely worth it. Here people are gathered around a man whistling chinese songs for the delight of children and tourists.

The village of Baisha, just to the north of Lijiang (Yunnan, China), is the traditional capital of the Naxi culture. This is a gate in the center of the village.
