We took two different day trips up to the North Shore of Oahu to watch the surfers. The first day, the surf was definitely UP. It was a blast to watch these surfers tackle these big waves. It also struck me the amount of diversity of types of people. There were teenagers to people in their 40s out surfing -- and both male and female. Fascinating to watch.

The beach we were on is called Banzai Beach or The Banzai Pipeline.
