I finally received my adapter for my Canon FD lenses today so I did a little test drive of the Canon FD 35mm f/2.0 around the house. Our house doesn't really have that many interesting things in it so I just took pictures of the chinese lantern pods that I harvested last year. I also added in a bit of grain to the image to give it an old-timey feel.

Icicles

Toronto got a bit of snow today so I decided to go out and take some pictures in the backyard (yeah, I'm weird like that.... I like the cold...). I tried to see if there was still anything interesting in the backyard in the middle of winter and I managed to find this dried hydrangea flower stalk.

My friends and I recently planned to go ice skating but I unfortunately had a bad ankle the day we planned to go so I couldn't skate (and I don't think it would've been a good idea anyways seeing as to I have only skated once in the past... think of the poor ice...). So I just decided to watch them on the sidelines and took pictures of peoples' skates on the ice to keep me occuppied.
