Seen on a day out with the Strictly Yorkshire FB group and Leeds Flickr group in Knaresborough ...

 

 

"The strange looking bird that is black and white, is not a magpie or a magpie/crow cross, he is in fact Mourdour named after the necromancer in Ivanhoe. He is an African pied raven, they only grow to crow size so are commonly known as Pied crows. They are found in Africa from Sub Sahara down to the Cape of Good Hope and also on the island of Madagascar."
