Red Tailed Hawk

The cropped version. Took a lunchtime ride and saw this guy in a tree. Hand held on a "rather blustery day". Trying to get samples (and practice) with the 300 with the 2x. It's a start.

Under pressure

Great Blue Heron

Wow, first upload since the fall! Went to Sachuest Point in RI to walk the trails and hopefully catch a glimpse of the Snowy Owl in residence lately. Skunked on the owl, but saw this guy on the relaxing, back road drive back. Not sold quite yet on the back button focus feature, but I'm told it takes time.
