That Wallpaper Shirt
One of two iffy tops that I made during the sewing craze of Fall 2009.
I was trying to go outside of the box with this printed knit. In fabric form, I like the print. In garment form....not to sure.
I modeled the shape after one of my favorite ever Old Navy tops. The difference is, the store bought top is made of very soft sweatshirt like material. While this is stretch cotton jersey.
Not the same.
It's also a little too short. There is no way in hell that I am unpicking that stretch stitch hem (three rows of stitching basically right on top of each other).
Should I cut it down the middle and add a placket and buttons? Making it a little jacket?
Give it to someone with a shorter torso?
Make it a blog giveaway like I've been planning?

I miss you, too!
I've been a grumpy Gus lately, so I've been away from Flickr.
I thought that was better than being around, but complaining all of the time, lol.
I go back to work Monday, so I'm sure to be grumpy again REAL soon!
