Green Batwing

    It's a bird,
    it's a plane,
it's a Batwing blast from the past!!

Made with some yummy cotton jersey ;o)
Truthfully this jersey is so nice, it deserves to be something a little more fashion forward and a little less frumpy than this top.

But it's sooooo comfy and perfect for those days when you're feeling less than svelte.

    A total aside:
OMG, my sister has such a funny story about her roommate mispronouncing svelte really RILLY badly. I laugh every time I read, see, hear or write the word now!

Anyway, the pattern is at BurdaStyle and it's free! You can print it up and sew it up in no time. Except for centering that v-neck, that was a bitch and a half. But, the only bitch of the project. It made me so mad that I skipped hemming the bottom, but I'm going to do it eventually.

      Thanks everyone!!
It's only the most comfy top evah!!

Chawne, it's not difficult with a stretch stitch on your machine. With my old machine, I had to pull the fabric while sewing so that the stretch was maintained. With the new machine, I can just plunk it down and sew.

I think you look pretty! You have a way of choosing colours, that compliment you so well.

P.S. I have had a look at your street on Google maps. That was fun.
