Harwell main gate

Oh Harwell... What have you done??? This was until recently the main gate, a whole complex, now, all gone. I never thought this would happen.

Harwell Training School

33 years ago this week I entered this building with trembling lab coat. This is where I started ASO training in 1978. I managed to get this photo just before they pulled the building down. We travelled nearly 700 miles to get this final memory of my past before it goes in the name of progress.

At the Fish Market

We wuz stuck in Scrabster harbour for a day during rough weather. I took a walk to ease off the kg aquired during hand-to-hand combat with ships biscuits and weavils. Had to leave my mark on the way through.

Bye bye L&M Constructor

Gone, but not forgotten. I had an absolutely great time working on here for a few months. But, she's gone now, so back to normal working life again behind a desk for me.
