Thanks. I was testing this Yashica 35 and the
lense is renowned for shooting indoors
without flash. This one is indeed a very nice
shot, done with the right camera on the right
moment. The Kodak lab processed it for me and
provided me prints as well as a CD with scans
(from the negative). Colours and dof are
original.
Full congrats, Bart. I hadn´t checked this
one out, but I clicked the link and I must
say I´m speechless. Of course, the lens and
the film help, but the composition is
gorgeous. Amazing colors, excellent DOF... I
must get myself a Yashica RIGHT NOW!!! Best regards.
Just standard Kodak iso 200. Do you have
suggestions for other film types? I usually
just buy this standard Kodak stuff. These
Yashica's do not have to be expensive, but
it's hard to tell if it's in a good condition
up front. The first one I bought had a
problem with the lever. I also had to buy 2
zorki's to get one fully functioned.
You mean Kodacolor 200 or Kodak Gold 200? If
you like shooting people more than
landscapes, Kodak Portra or Fuji Reala are
GREAT films, but more expensive. On the other
hand, the grain is pretty fine, and you can
get big enlargements. On the cheaper side you
can try Fuji Provalue, which is very nice
too!

This is beautiful. You've captured a great moment. The colors and DOF are wonderful as well.
Is this something that you had scanned at the time of processing at your lab? Can you give any details regarding that?

Okay, I have to try these, but my photo shop just never stock them. I'll ask them to order. Thanks
