I don't know if I am going to get around to backing up some of the February photos or even try to keep up with the 365 thing. Probably not as life is about to get a lot more hectic... but I am posting some more of my Ghana photos on my other Flickr Stream this week for those who are interested. Including this one which is my all time favorite photo of me.

Above are boats in the harbour of Elmina which was a Portuguese trading port from which the majority of slaves from West Africa were sent out from. Above are the fishermen...

I am never one to back down from a challenge. Especially not the morning after I got my hair did at the FANCY salon :) For once no wild bedhead!! Gotta love a MacBook with photo booth when you are lazy and in bed still! Pasty face may be my name but I have pretty hair :)

That said I'll hopefully be backlogging some photos later today/tomorrow. Cold and then life have taken a good whack at me and at time I had over the past two weeks. Though I am trying to comment when I can.

Lots coming up: I got the job, I am going to Paris/Senegal/possibly Amsterdam in about a month, there is knitting for Spring babies and a May wedding (which may be another odessey adventure trip of its own). I am tired already thinking about it....

But today I am going to revel in being lazy after a shopping spree that would put many to shame yesterday. Cause damn it I deserve it and don't treat myself that much/that often :)

I have flopped off the face of the planet, into a secret cocktail of the above. Seems that the good news brought it on.
More (and backlog) when I can breathe again, when said breathing does not involve me believing I am swallowing razor blades or expelling white/yellow/don't even want to think about that colour of viscous material and consume something not exclusively liquid.

Some might call this homeostasis for me. Some might say I need to change my perspective. They might be right... but for right now I say I am cranky, otherwise known as cantankerous coot. Yup that's me!
