today I feel happy I think it's the heat. I have salt in my ears and sand on my feet. we went to go surf but the ocean was flat. it cant stop us now we'll just laugh about that. my friend ruthie and I, we paddled out. got tangled in kelp squeal scream and shout! conversation was had there floating around and hearts were shared our love did abound.

when we make a record breaking shortest visit to the beach ever noted in s-d family history, celebrate the birth of our favorite ella-girl, spring clean bedrooms and take in the most brilliant full moon over the bay.

the day i almost speak, "computers at the library are the bane of my existence!" but she really wants to use one and i really see value in understanding technology and that's really the only place she can and i guess i really don't mind. so we sit together and try to figure out a game and we're calculating & constructing and time flies. we play to the last minute before needing to pick up her sisters and dash out where she exclaims, "you didn't even read ONE book to me!" where i counter, "you wanted to use the computer" and she responds "well, we did have fun together." yes. march 7, the day we made a quick visit to the library, didn't read one book, but had fun together.
