Vía Méndez Anegada
sin edición, unedited
Avenida Méndez, one of the most important ones in my city. the barrier we built downtown was supposed to contain this, but it breached last night and look how far the water went (as far as the eye can see)

Hola. Vine a agradecerte lo mismo y a decirte que en todas partes hay tristeza por lo que pasa en el sur de México y que no están solos, aunque hace falta mucha más ayuda. Un saludo desde muy lejos.

Thanks, thanksfully me and my family were very lucky, we didn't flood but every one was affected in a way or another.. some lost everything they had, in our case we just didn't have running water and had a hard time getting certain suplies... in any regard, it really did affect everyone in the state.

We in Blighty had some serious flooding last July. I wasn't effected directly, although I had an interesting cycle ride back home one Friday afternoon. It has effected the price of most vegetables & has caused a great deal of controversy regarding building on flood plains.
