Where there are gigantic lanterns and towering Christmas trees, we go. When there is a party, Cacing sashays with us. And up goes the flickering lights at home and Christmas songs do we hum all the time.
...Obviously, Christmas is back in our hearts where it always should be.

This is wonderful play with the out-of-focus highlights, (bokeh highlights - circles of confusion) The Christmas season has so many lights in the background to cause bokeh highlights all over. These shots of Cacing are wonderful! If your aperture is a different shape, such as triangular as lenses are, then you get triangels of confusion, or triangular bokeh highlighs. If the apeture were triangular. then bokeh highlights that is out-of-focus highlights fall forward of the DOF the triangle points down. If they are on the far side of the DOF they point up as the position in of the apature is. Circular apetrues solve this issue. The Bokeh alows a seperation between subject and ground. - This is very a good use of the Boken. The concept, focus and subject and ground work very well together.
