Abad
The small populace of about 17,000 in Batanes has seen the ascendance of the Abad family in its politics. The former education secretary of the Philippines, Butch Abad, also used to be the Congressman of Batanes. He actually is a nice fellow. When we visited his house in Tukon Hills, he generously allowed us in. Its view overlooking the Pacific Ocean is fantastic. His sister by the way was the late world-famous artist Pacita Abad known for her trapunto paintings.

great composition, i love the warm colors against the cool sky. the geometry in the shot is very nice, the curves in the foreground versus the straight angled house, and then the wide open expanse behind...kudos!
