Finally finished the little fella. My first proper effort at crochet.
I know now that
• sewing on limbs is about as much fun as sewing on your *own* limbs
would be
• I can't read a pattern properly
Despite all this, it was actually quite fun to make. Looks nothing
like the one in the pattern but I did try. For some reason my arms and legs were about 4 times
thicker, so i had to keep quitting and starting again. Anyway. I'm
happy. He's happy - not least because I sewed a smile on his face :)
edit - if it wasn't for Joy I''d never've *started* let alone finished. Joy taught me how to crochet into a ring, which I'd totally not been able to figure out at all before then.
