Today Stockholm enjoys an excellent reputation as a city and one need only stroll through its streets to see a city alive, orderly and clean. For some, is a resting place where you can escape from everyday life, for others it is a paradise for shopping and for the most gourmets a real luxury, with large commercial buildings, refined shops and luxurious restaurants.
Stockholm is so beautiful day and night. However, the best time to know, is when people invade their terraces and the sun barely get. The Swedes can boast a beautiful and welcoming capital, where the blue reigns over lakes and in many of its colorful facades.
Stockholm means "the Island". It is built on 14 islands where the lake Malaren empties into the Baltic Sea. The picture on the lakes striking: ferries and sailboats coexisting peacefully with icebreakers.

Hoy en día Estocolmo goza de una reputación excelente como ciudad y solo hay que pasear por sus calles para ver una ciudad viva, ordenada y limpia. Para unos es un lugar de descanso donde poder evadirse de la vida cotidiana, para otros es un paraíso de las compras y para los más sibaritas un auténtico lujo, con grandes espacios comerciales, tiendas refinadas y lujosos restaurantes.
Estocolmo es tan bella de día como de noche. Sin embargo, la mejor época para conocerla, es cuando sus habitantes invaden las terrazas y el sol apenas llega a ponerse. Los suecos pueden presumir de una capital hermosa y acogedora, donde reina el azul de los lagos y el colorido en muchas de sus fachadas.
Estocolmo significa “la Isla”. Está construída sobre 14 islas en el lugar donde el Lago Malaren desemboca en el Mar Báltico. El panorama sobre los lagos llama la atención: transbordadores y veleros conviviendo pacíficamente con rompehielos.
