Thank you! Before ordering my Elinchrom Skyports I
wasn't that happy with them when shooting
outside. The range of IR is pretty limited,
especially in broad daylight and you always
have to have intervisibility between the
units. When shooting inside, they are pretty
reliable, but nothing compared to wireless
remote triggering. But since I've been using
my skyports, I'm very happy with my sigmas,
they have a lot of options for adjusting
flash output and zoom ability. Hope that
helps you ;)
Hi Vikram, I placed them one on the
lefthandside behind the tree and the other
one on the right side in the grass. I think
the one on the right side was on a tripod,
therefore the shadow of the rider coming from
the left side. But this is an older picture so I am not
absolutely sure anymore.
Really awesome photo. Found it on DPS website
article on using flash with action
photography. This set with the mountain biker
spurred a lot of ideas I'd like to try with
my two remote speedlights.
