I always attend the Sony Ericsson so shot these few pix on a practice court these past few years. It's always a hoot to see Rafa and Venus Williams on the same practice court (bottom right). I love watching the matches as much as getting a few pix and can manage to do both (ADD?). I also was EXHAUSTED watching this match lasting almost 6 HOURS, beginning at 3am!! Both players deserved to win and both gave it their all to the point they were cramping badly during the award presentation. They were given a chair and water as neither could stand without stretching, bending over, wincing in pain during some very long speeches. I wonder if this sport can attain a higher bar than where it is now--these 2 amazing champs here who set such a fine example of sportsmanship, skill level, and work ethic for any youngsters looking for an idol. I ♥♥♥ TENNIS and thrilled to see what has happened to the sport!!!!!

I ♥ TENNIS!! After a competitive 2 weeks of match play, Victoria Azarenka emerged as the singles WINNER!! She began her journey to the top at Miami's Sony Ericsson in 2011 with her 'new' coach, pictured here. I was fortunate to capture these images on a practice court at that tournament and being the "fan" I am, always watch the tournament EVEN THOUGH the matches are played at 3am!!
