Memphis skyline in the late afternoon sun viewed from across the Mississippi River.
Does anyone else find it ridiculous that it took around 5 or 6 hours to process these photos? I don't mean the software rendering time was that long, I mean that it took me 5 or 6 hours to play with settings in my software until I got a result I liked.
I uploaded 3 tonemapped versions of this HDR shot. This one very realistic, but lacking in definition, the other two look progressively less realistic but with more definition and contrast. I could not decide which one I liked, please view all three and let me know which one you like the most.
This image is created from 13 exposures and is tonemapped using Dynamic Range Reduction Inspired by Photoreceptor Physiology ('05 E. Reinhard and K. Devlin)
Pregamma=0.9
Brightness=-10.4

See a map depicting how I got to the location where I took this photo.

Hi,
I am the admin of a blog for the tenants of the Shrine Building downtown and I used your shot of 88 Union for a post about the upcoming development of that corner. Love your photos.
