As the story moves to night I wanted a really dramatic picture to show that the character has really experience life. That they are fun, crazy and living their dreams. I felt this photo had great energy already so I wanted to edit it in a way that would be unique and not typical. So I started by using the 1960′s tool. Then I played with the saturation by bumping it up a ton! The next thing I used was the Focal black and white tool. I wanted the orange to really pop out behind the girl. This represents that her life is created by her and her choices. She is her own energy and the world of color and life is created by her.
This is the first in the sunset sequence. It also represents "Explore. Dream."
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things
that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the
bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in
your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain
