Ok this plant is not the same plant as the flower I thought to be a giant waratah but is actually a Gymea Lily BUT it is similar, except the main stalk is considerably shorter and the petals run along the branch of the stalk instead of in a typical flower (waratah shape).
Can anyone ID this plant?
