My first album artwork.

My photo-surreal imagery was noticed here on Flickr by a U.S. jazz artist (actually her husband). She contacted me and asked if I was interested in doing the imagery for her new album. She felt it would work well with the theme and title, "Tales of the Unusual."

Her name is Lorraine Feather and she is a most excellent lyricist, vocalist, performer, GRAMMY nominee and all-around nice person. She has quite a long jazz pedigree, including being the godchild of Billie Holiday. Visit www.lorrainefeather.com to read Lorraine's bio.

This is a track from the album. "Tales of the Unusual" is getting glowing reviews from U.S. and international jazz critics alike. One reviewer from the BBC called the imagery, "high art." I wonder what he meant by that?

I actually don't know why I posted this, other than the fact that I find it humorous. It was part of a conversation I had with a friend while we were walking.
