The picture on the card depicts a partial capture of the painting, "Harmony ", which was painted in 1877 by the Victorian painter Sir Frank Dicksee (1853 -1928). This card is one of many that I have sitting on various windowsills in my house. It has been there for a quite awhile, and now is a bit faded, torn, and showing its age.

As I glanced out the window yesterday at a bird, the sun coming in at angle from another window suddenly illuminated the card through the opening in the back of a chair that just happened to be there at that moment. Perhaps because of the framing by the chair, and the focus of light on the card, it caught my eye in a different way than it ever had before.

I only had a few minutes to quickly grab my camera and get a picture of it before the sun's rays moved away from the spot. On looking at it later, I realized what a fortuitous, and timely capture it was to put up for Valentine's Day.

Feb 6, 2012 - Senna Coronet at AM Radio's build -The Far Away

I don't run into Senna very often, but it is always very nice when I do. I haven't been in SL much lately, but one night recently when I dropped in for a little bit, AM, Senna and I had a very nice conversation standing in the snow-covered wheat field with the quiet beauty of the falling snow all around us.

Feb 6, 2012 - Pumpernickel Barthelmess at AM Radio's build - The Far Away

I only briefly met Pumpernickel Barthelmess (hope I got the name right) for the first time one night recently at The Far Away. I found his little elephant avatar so amusing, half-buried in the deep snow in the wheat field, that I just had to grab a picture.

I haven't been in SL much lately, so this pic is not very current. Sadly, also this build of AM's is no longer in SL, and I really miss it. It was one of my favorite places in SL. I wish I could be there again.

I just wanted to thank you all for all your very nice comments and faves over this past year. I appreciate them all very much.

I wish you all a very good new year ahead, and hope it is filled with things that will make you happy.
