The High Line

The High Line

The Standard Hotel straddles the famed High Line in New York City. The High Line was formerly a railway once operated by the New York Central Railroad. It is now a linear park that runs from Gansevoort Street up to 30th Street through the neighborhood of Chelsea to the West Side Yard.

Shuttle

Shuttle

The "S" train, also known as the shuttle, pulls into 42nd Street. According to Wikipedia, it is the shortest route on the entire New York City Subway, connecting 42nd Street with Grand Central in officially one minute.
