    The Common Pierrot (Castalius rosimon) is a small pied butterfly found in forest edges and roads. It flies close to the ground and settles down often.The Common Pierrot belongs to the Lycaenids or Blues family and has a distinct unmarked gap in the centre of its hind wing.
