Obviously a lot of other people think this photo is beautiful too. The solid black background really sets off the gold and green colors! Wonderful capture.

Both are beautiful, but I do like this version a bit more. I also love the California golden poppy. It's one of the first signs of spring and is so colorful everywhere. Excellent shot.

Well, flopper, I was ill, so my memory on how I did this isn't exact. I used Photoshop and did something with layers and... I'll try to look it up. There are several ways I have achieved a similar effect, so I can't be certain which I used. More later!
