Blue Grosbeak

Bald Eagle Take off
This was definitely a female, she was HUGE and dwarfed a few other bald eagles she came close to. She chased off a mature bald eagle from its captured prey seconds after this photo was taken.

Pacheco Pass
It was such a beautiful day and this is just such a beautiful area. The photo is a handheld HDR of 3 RAW photos. I adjust the RAW files first, then crank them through Photomatix and put the finishing touches on it in Photoshop using the original photos to "correct" any artifacts created through the Photomatix software.
