It always starts like this . . .

Bodhi crawls under the afghan on my bed and waits for me to play with him. It happens every night till eventually I notice the lump under my afghan. I call out, "Bodhi, where's my Bodhi?" Bo doesn't move under the afghan. Only his tail twitches. I grab his pole toy, dragging it through the house, flipping it up in the air as he jumps for it. Sometimes he catches it and runs away with it. I take a break but not for long. Here comes Bo with a bag over his head, deliberately bumping into things. The more I laugh the more he plays "blind man". After we're all tuckered out, Bo goes into his meditative posture. Sometimes I join him. That's the way it is with us. I love my Bodhi.

Hello down there. . .

Rumor has it Belle has been solitary and a Baywood local for a couple of years. Here she's in the midst of scratching her head, lightly I would imagine with those sharp talons. I thought this was the cutest of the "head scratching" series since it looks like she's waving.
