and they call it puppy love
When life overnights you the exact same batch of lemons - to the very anniversary of the day it dropped them in your lap 5 years previous - there's really only one thing to do.
Buy a puppy.
Of course that's just before you take those lemons, get enough tequila to drown an entire small Mexican village, and make margaritas for the long holiday weekend.
But that's later tonight...
Right now, we'd like to introduce you to the newest member of our family. She was born on December 7, 2007 and just joined our household today.
She's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Her given name was Kara, but we aren't going to put that on the AKC registration. We're currently in family negotiations on that. So far our oldest son has been lobbying to name her "Mommy" — which I've yet to determine if that is a compliment, or just means I'm a true bitch. Hahaha.
Stay tuned. More unbearable cuteness is on the way. After naptime, of course.
