The family goes to buy wrist watch - Nov'11, Pushkar Camel Fair
The Pushkar Camel Fair, like traditional village fair is the place where people from across Rajasthan's villages come to buy things only available in the cities. Children and women save money through the year to buy things they fancy at the mela. We have many references to such joyous mela occasions in many Indian literature.
I spotted this family which was excited to buy imported wrist watches at only Rs. 100, Rs. 60 or Rs. 40 :)

People come from all over Rajasthan to attend the Pushkar fair. This is the time of the year when they do all kinds of shopping from desinger wear to wrist watches to grains and cattle.
