Happy Sliders Sunday!!

One of my all-time faves..thought it was in my photostream, but apparently not. Decided to resurrect it.

The Historic Burwell House, Minnetonka, MN. I often go and wander the grounds, in search of a wide range of photos. There is the architecture of the house and outbuildings, Oak trees and various foliage, wildflowers and insects and the creek.

My parents' neighbor has some beautiful flowers and a variety of plants, many of which are potted and get brought outside in the summer.
What I found so charming, was the pair of her husband's old workboots that she now uses as a pot for plants. What a clever idea. Used various effects including a vintage "time-machine" to enhance the color.
Wish I would have gotten more shots at various angles, but it was hot and miserable and I was sweating like crazy while trying to shoot some of her plants .[[
