I've one and It's my salvation for my self portraits. Mine is from Canon and it costs 15 euros, I'd recommend it!

I love how the shoes just fade into the background! Seeing how both wear differently is really rather cool -- like the heel on the left shoe is more banged up than the right! Such a lovely image Cleo!

in the thumbnail i thought this was a torn up book! i think any wireless remote is good, and pretty water proof it seems haha i've gotten mine wet so many times but i have a nikon.

looks like these Chucks have seen a lot of km but still have some life left in them, i think...nicely captured, dear Cleo! :-)
i only have the Canon wired remote with my camera, so have no "hands-on" experience with a wireless remote. but definitely check the various internet review sites before making a selection!
