      Yes, he's fine now except I have to put ointment in his eyes daily so they won't dry out since he can't close them completely.

      He had entropion? That is so unusual in cats, esp the upper lids. how much time has passed since his surgery? The olden day correction, before lasers, often 'relaxed' a bit afterwards. Hopefully his will also and he'll be able to close his eyes all the way. I hope he feels much better now!

      LOL I keep hearing "that is so unusual in cats" between him and my miracle baby, Shadow. He is 5 now and had it down when he was less than a year. He ended up having to have 3 sets of surgeries. Each time she did it she took as little off as she thought she could and still fix it. But I guess it was pretty bad. She's a noted opthomologist in the south Florida area.

      Wow! Great that you have a specialist there to do the corrective surgery. I wonder if the surgery with a laser is the same as with a scalpel in that the lids come down, sort of settle a little, over time afterwards. I worked with a vet for many years (but long, long ago) and I can' remember ever seeing a cat with entropion. We did many corrective surgeries for dogs, though. The specialist must see it commonly, I've just never heard of it!

      No, she said at that time that it was unusual for cats. She waited several months between operations to see if they would settle and then decided she had to do more on it.
