Automotive gorgeousness spotted in London on Friday afternoon.

As I walked across London from Leicester Square to Whitechapel on Friday I passed Cheapside House - the office where I worked for six years back in the 1980s. Now it's surrounded by buildings I don't recognise, the branch of W H Smith's I used to visit at lunchtime has gone, and there's a branch of Starbucks outside the front door.

People gathered in the imposing surroundings of Christ Church in Spitalfields last night to celebrate the launch of the Gentle Author's book, "Spitalfields Life". I've been reading the blog for quite a while, and it felt slightly strange wandering around and seeing faces from its pages in real life.

Uploaded for Graham Linehan - a 2000AD signing session at Forbidden Planet, Denmark Street, London way back in 1982 (ish). It's definitely Brian Bolland on the left and Alan Moore sitting next to him but I'm a bit hazy on the other two... Is that Kev O'Neill on the right? John Wagner in the white shirt?

I took part in the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend, and I must admit I was rather surprised when this white dove turned up. The starling looks a bit taken aback, too...
