Sun!
I'm already missing the ease of the summer, when I could grab my nearly naked baby and walk out the door, no shoes, no diaper bag, no snowsuit, no mittens, no 47 layers! But there's really no good reason to stop going outside. Got to nip this cabin fever in the bud!

After seeing this I just did that, thanks to a free bus service (I still had to walk to get to the stop). I know that people generally are sad about short days, but the light is its loveliest between 3:30-5 pm.

I keep thinking about the blizzard we had last weekend, the twenty inches of snow we got in one day, and I keep worrying over cabin fever with such a tiny creature coming so soon... it's so much work, all of those accouterments, but man, the joy of being in the fresh air. It's worth it.

Do you have any slings or carriers? They were (and still are!) so great in the snow last year, and minnow will be so warm snuggled up next to you!
