      CharlieB, thx 4 writing/prompt response.
Spray/shower (slow tepid running water) to the plant, leaf by leaf and flush out the fugus nest esp those hiding in the curls/middle of the young shoot/leaves
Wet the soil/drain them well. The exercise/purpose of the spray/shower is to rid of the whilte fugus as they love dry patches and they will multiply fast enough to damage the plant.
After spray/shower, make sure you keep the leaves clean and dry by wiping with tissues so that there is no watermarks/stains on the colorful leaves.

Give it a try. It's a beautiful plant and keep it alive! It will give lovely tiny flowers too!

PS: You can also multiply the plants by rerooting the part where you can see the knot/joint or where it shows little tiny leg of root! =)
