solstice potluck dish
inspired by the split pea and greens dish in super natural every day, except made with what we had on hand: red onion, red pepper & bacon. no pesto added.
i managed to find enough in the garden to supply the greens part: the very outer leaves of the still unformed napa cabbages, a handful of the first kale leaves, welsh onions, chives, cilantro leaves, and lamb's quarters, all snipped into ribbons with a pair of kitchen shears.
tonight, i scooped the leftovers onto pieces of knackebrod crackers.
'twas quite good.
