baby pig nursing dachshund mom
Disclaimer: I did not take these. They came to me in one of those FWD
FWD FWD "Isn't this adorable?" type emails. The only info
given along with them was: "She is fostering this guy for
another mom who couldn't take care of him. He had his eyes closed,
but now they are open. He is just a little bigger than her other
pups. She loves this little guy more than the other puppies and she is
nursing him back to health. He is the cleanest puppy ever because she
licks him all the time." (mmm, piggy deliciousness!)
I had to put them up in order to share the 'dachsund-pig baby' with
the world. So, if you took these, let me know if you want me to remove
them, or credit them to you. And I want to know more! Did the pig mom
die? Do the puppies and the pig play now? Do they tussle and frolick?
Do the puppies hump the piglet? Is the piglet teaching the puppies how
to oink? Is there video footage? I looked online for a while but
couldn't find any more info on these guys.
If this scene were in my house, I would burn out my camera, battery,
charger, and hard drive with the amount of photos I'd take.

We have discussed whether or not these photos are fakes at the Daily Doxie. the consensus is they're genuine.

Really sweet photo. I too have seen something like this in a FW FW email, but not this one. It's too cute!

I don't see anything to make me think they're fakes... if there were only one photo and it looked too good to be true, maybe. But there are multiples of these photos and they all look real to me. Piggy just needed some Dachshund love!
