    Danke Britta. Nein, ich bin nicht auf eine Stehleiter. Hier tat es ein kleiner Hocker und mein 50mm Objektiv.

    This one is wonderful. It feels just right - casual and not too arranged. I love the colors. the basil is completely random but who cares. I love the green tops on the strawberries. The little patterns here and there on the napkin and plate are great. Would love to be sitting at the table!

    Sabra, you wouldn't like to sit on that table, because it was actually the floor, So I didn't have to use ladder or something. When the basil is looking completely random, than it is just what I wanted.

    I've never been fan of this perspective but i like how you cleverly set everything up ! It's more than a nice picture and it really has an impact on the mood : natural, refreshing, comfortable, sharing... a perfect breakfast. Great job, Thorsten !

    i like this, Thorsten... there is a lot going on here but i think the lightness and bright color give it a refreshing feel, and the little imperfections really make the photo. looks delicious :)

    Thank you Kim. I agree, it is the scenery which makes this photo.

    I guess many table settings are floor setting, when you would ask.

    Thank you so much Alessandro for this compliment. Kandinsky is one of my favorite painters. You are right, I like graphical almost abstract settings.

    Thank you, yes, it is completely arranged and even the crumbs are. That was so much fun to do.

    Thank you so much Melina for the compliments on this one. Yes, this was fun, fun, fun. And I have some more ideas on something like this. But the light drove me crazy. It changed every second from direct sun light to almost "darkness". Sometimes I waited for minutes for the light to change.

    How wonderful! Colorful without being overwhelming, great casual arrangement without looking artificial - just welcoming and good to eat. And I love that it was on the floor. I'll have to try that next time I'm trying to shoot food. :)

    Quite possibly my favorite picture of the entire year! I don't know it just made me happy :)
    The arrangement is brilliantly executed because nothing seems contrived, forced. I love that you shot it on the floor!! I do that so many times for overhead shots too!!
