That is one mode of transportation I don't miss. Quick and efficient yes but far too crowded.

    Great shot.

noneof100#1 This is really excellent. Love the grit and the special care taken into composition. Even has text. A favorite. Unfortunately, the defender has another surprise element of perspective to it.

  32. RyanWT (39 months ago | reply)

Cool shot. The colors and different textures really appeal to me. However the defender also has a very interesting photo. The more I look at both of them the more I go for the challenger. oneof100#1

i like the colors, the texture of the train, and the strangeness of this shot. the defender's shot is a good idea, but i believe poorly executed and has a bad tonal range.

I love the textures and tones in this one and the way you've captured the two people is excellent. However, the originality of the defender, which is also extremely well executed, takes my vote this time.

Really like this photo very much!! The composition is great, and the figures portrayed are quite interesting in their placement as well as expression. The color and tone work is excellent. The perspective of the defender's is unusual, but I feel the challenger's work is better overall.

The colors, textures, and interest of the characters keep me looking at this image to find more. Compared to the defender once I realized what I was looking at it no longer appealed to me. The composition of this image keeps my eye moving across the image and pearing into the image. The defender's doesn't have the same effect.

Having used to live in Toronto and having had to commute via packed subways for years this brings back some memories I'd as soon forget!

Really, though, I like the composition and the tones but I find the slight angle of the lines created by the perspective do not work well within the tight frame. It's rather off-putting. Therefore my vote goes to the defender.

You captured some great tones and a hectic moment here. It's something that I've seen before, though, and so I think it needs to be compositionally perfect. The slight tilt of the frame is disappointing.

I don't think "Feet" is technically perfect, but it does offer something unique.

    Both good photos, but

For me this image has some wonderful elements. Strong graphical composition, good subtle colours and human interest. It is in my view a stronger emotional image than the defender so congratulations it’s a winner (o:
